Triste histoire à propos de Sonny,

Sonny George était le chanteur des Planets Rockets, au mois de mai dernier j'avais achété l'album de Phil Lee et il y avait une chanson sur Sonny, les paroles n'etant pas incluse dans le livret, j'avais du mal à capter le sens du morceau, Phil me renvoya ce mail :

'Sonny George', the truck driver kills 11 children and goes insane. sonny george, our pal, and former planet rocker, in real life just snapped....his mind went for some reason and it's looking like it's going to stay that way...he is (or was) a great guy and a great talent and i'd sure like to know what the hell went wrong.

sonny george, he trembled as he stood before the judge
sonnys' lawyer begged for mercy but the d.a. wouldn't budge
"well if you can't cut my client loose
can you cut the boy some slack"
the d.a. said "i'd cut my head off counselor,
if i thought it'd bring them children back "

there's blood still on the highway where this dreadful thing occurred
little bits of glass and metal, flowers by the curve
sonny george didn't go to jail, i suppose that's good
but he never spoke another word anybody understood
